- Visit GST Portal
- Click “New GST Registration” after selecting “Registration” from the “Services” page.

- From the “I am a” drop-down list, choose “Taxpayer” as the taxpayer type.
- Choose the state and district where registration is necessary from the State/UT and District drop-down list.
- Enter the legal name of the business or entity as it is listed in the PAN database in the “Legal Name of the Business” area.
- Enter the PAN of the company or the proprietor in the Permanent Account Number (PAN) field.
- In the email address field, enter the email address of the primary authorized signatory.
- Enter the principal authorized signatory’s current mobile number in the mobile number field.

- Proceed to Part B after the procedure is finished. You will be given a Temporary Reference Number (TRN) following verification. To the registered email and mobile numbers, the TRN will be provided.
GST registration part B: Steps to follow.
- Type in the captcha code and your TRN. Enter the OTP that was issued to your email and mobile number. Continue by completing the GST REG-01 form online.
- You can see that your application is at the “Draft” stage. ‘Action’ should be clicked.
- Type in your company’s trade name and bylaws. Choose the relevant Commissionerate Code, Division Code, and Range Code from the dropdown menu.
- Indicate the purpose of obtaining registration, the start date of your business, and the date on which you become legally obligated to register.
- Giving information on up to 10 promoters or partners is required as the following step in the GST registration process. Give the names, addresses, director identification numbers (DINs), nationalities, PANs, and Aadhaars of each promoter. You must also attach a photo of the promotor.
- Enter the information about your main place of business, including the location’s address and its kind of property ownership. Upload documentation for your primary business location, such as a lease agreement or the most recent property tax statement.
- Enter the information for your bank account, including the account number, type, and Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) of the bank. You must upload documentation of your bank account information, such as a passbook or account statement.
- Go through the documents once more and ensure all the documents are correct. Publish your e-signature or Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).
- You obtain an Application Reference Number (ARN) in your registered email address and mobile number after submitting the application. The ARN can be used to follow the progress of your GST registration request.
